2 for you! The Greeting Farm

Good morning!  I hope everybody had a great weekend. It was an extra long one for me and I was lucky enough to go away for it! We just hung out at the pool and relaxed all weekend long. Then that pesky ol' hurricane decided to pay a visit to Florida on Monday so my little trip got a tiny bit cut off but it was still great. We had 3 days of sun and fun and 1 day of yucky weather. Can't really complain there!

Today I am posting on The Greeting Farm blog. I have 2 cards to show you today!  Yea, I can't believe it either! lol

I used Cheeky Geeky and CC Riley by The Greeting Farm on my cards. I just got this fabby new paper by Authentique from the Ribbon Carousel a couple of days ago. It's so pretty! I used the organic dual striped cotton ribbon and some bittersweet Jute, both from the Ribbon Carousel.

Ohhhhhh and I was lucky enough to go the My Favorite Things store this past weekend and I bought lots of great goodies. Let me tell you, what a cute store Ms. Kim has!!  It's adorable and organized and I can't wait to go back.  I could have definitely bought more but I had to finally stop myself!  The tab die is from MFT as well as both sentiments.

Happy Birthday - Magnolia

Good Morning!  Today is a my Anniversary. My man drives me crazy at times, and he is extremely bullheaded...yes I said that. But...he is mine...all mine. I love him and I couldn't imagine life without him. Happy 13 years to us!  So enough of that.....

It's challenge week at Magnolia-licious!  Here is the inspiration photo that was picked by Ms. Maria.

I used Tilda w/Kite as my image. I didn't see the larger image in the store, but the Mini is available. You can always check with Ms. Diana to see if and when she plans to get it in!  I fussy cutted Tilda w/Kite and popped it up from the page. The papers, which are dreamy, are from My Minds Eye.

Simple things - LLLC

Good morning!  Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Mine was pretty good. Relaxing, totally needed that.  Plus I am FINALLY finished with 50 Shades of Grey, now maybe I can get my life back. Last week everything was seriously on hold bc I couldn't put those books (aka mommy p@rn) down...lmao

Anyways, quick post today.  It's a new challenge at La La Land Crafts this week. This week we want to see Butterflies in your project.

I used Marci with Watering Can and then my background is done with the Sunflowers stamp.  I have used copics for all the coloring. The papers are from Simple Stories as is the sentiment.  The ribbon is from Ribbon Carousel.  My butterflies are from an MS punch...however, soon I hope to have in my possesion the new Butterfly die from La La Land. If you haven't seen it, you must! So pretty!!

Farm Fresh Challenge - B&W

Good morning. Ok, Ok, I know I am late on this but I FINALLY started to read 50 Shades of Grey over the weekend and well, my life will never be the same. Seriously. Haha. I am just starting book 3 and I am feeling quite sad....like I know it's going to end and I'm not quite sure how I plan on handling that!! LMBO.  Ok I'm kidding...but seriously, it is a great book and not just for all the hot juicy stuff. The writing isn't all that great, but the story of Sir Grey is definitely interesting! So I am going to make this post super quick as I have a book to go read!!!

Today I am hosting the Farm Fresh Challenge on The Greeting Farm blog. I want to see you creations using Black, white and one other color!

I used Prince Ian and Princess from the latest release by The Greeting Farm.  The paper is from My Minds Eye. I used the same paper and created a rolled flower to coordinate!

Exciting News and Dots and Stripes!

Hellllllllo Bloggie friends! I hope everybody had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday. Mine was pretty darn nice, didn't do much but that  is exactly what I wanted!  I had a pretty nice lunch with my mother, father, brother and sister and their families. Came home and vegged a little. Then did dinner with in the in-laws.  My daughter made me a beautiful crown....and yes I wore it in the restaurant. How could I not? 

I do have some exciting news. I was asked to join the girls over at the Ribbon Carousel. I seriously think I may be in trouble because these girls are a rare breed of donkeys. No kidding!!! I can't wait to work with them all, they are all a hoot. So I was so excited about being asked to join that I hopped onto my blog and I was going to add the "crew" badge and what do you know, I was OUT OF SPACE! Yay...NOT COOL!!! I was freakin' out. I'm like, seriously??? So there I go googling how to get space and/or delete pictures from blogger. It took me a little while, but I figured it out. I know have space back...thank goodness. However, I had to delete alot of pictures from some of my old post. I tried only deleting the "artsy fartsy" shots. You know the ones that are at an angle...etc! :-) So all is right in the world now...thank goodness!

Todays card is for the La-La Land challenge. I only have 2 more weeks as GDT. :-( This weeks challenge is "Dots and Stripes". I used Travel Marci and the NEW Street Lamp DIE from La-La Land. You read that correctly. La-La Land Crafts is now doing their own Dies and they are beautiful. They cut so well too. No probably popping the cardstock out at all!

The paper is from the Vintage Marketplace by Bazzill.Paper 6x6 paper pad. I printed out a qoute from my computer. The pink twill ribbon is from Ribbon Carousel...

Hey Girlfriend....

I hope everybody's weekend was great. Mine blew by way to quickly!!  I had a nice time though.  I spent a little bit of time at my LSS stamping with the girls. Midway on Saturday I totally lost my mojo though. I think I was too busy thinking of margaritas later that night! haha  So I met up with my brother and a friend for some Cinco De Mayo fun!  I just love those Presidente Margaritas at Chilis. Yummy!  Sunday was movie day with the family. I can't believe I got my husband to wait until Sunday to see Avengers....but he graciously did. LOL  It was torture for him too!! 

Today is Monday...another work week...sigh.

It's also a new challenge at La-La Land Crafts!  This weeks challenge is called Hey Girlfriend and we are bringing out the "Girlfriends Collection". Today I chose to use Jesalyn. She is truly a sassy little thing.

I used some new papers from prima. Love the colors.  I colored Jesalyn with Copics. Used the lacey square spellbinder to cut out the square.

The copics I used today are:

Hair: E21, E23, E25, E29
Skin: E000, E00, E11, V20
Shoes/jewelry: C00, C3, C5

Welcome Little One - CC

Good morning! I'm here today with a Baby Gift Tag! Did you see all the new Humpreys that are out from Crafter's Companion? They are available in the store and are so very adorable. One of my favorites is this cute Welcome Little One Humprey.

I created the tag rather large to be placed on a large baby gift. The dimensions are 6 x 4 1/2. I then colored Welcome Little One with Spectrum Noirs. The colors I used were:

BGR1, IG1, DG4, PL1, PL2 and CT3
The sentiment is included in the set. I cut around it and added a little button to the middle.  Used up some old CTMH flowers I had laying around. The paper is from Simple Stories.
